This genuine 1973 MA-1 bomber from Alpha Industries is a wearable collectors’ piece in great condition. Its original features include a nylon shell and a reversible, bright orange interior that pilots would wear on the outside in the event of a plane crash. The MA-1, first developed in the 1950s and popularized by Alpha Industries, was the standard issue flight jacket for Air Force pilots until the 1970s. This particular model was first issued on July 18, 1972. Bomber jackets are now an iconic style piece that are perfect for transitional weather in any season.
